Aida Handkerchief

100% made in and shipped from the USA! This handkerchief is named for my dear friend, Aida.

Her sweet dad used to crochet similar handkerchiefs when she was a child and wanted something similar. It was honor to create a special piece to pay homage to her childhood memories.

I use an ethically sourced merino wool from Bad Sheep Yarn in Alaska. The artisan hand dyes her yarn in small batches creating vibrant, one of a kind colors that celebrate the unique and beautiful spirit of nature as well as humanity.

Merino wool is a very lightweight, natural, nonpiling fiber. Merino is moisture wicking and helps regulate body temperature by keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

The Aida Hankerchief is a versatile accessory which can be worn as neck scarf, a head scarf, tied to the handle of a purse (or backpack), or any other purpose you can imagine!

The beauty of fashion is -when expressed from the heart, it amplifies who you know yourself to be to the world.

 The Aida handkerchief will hold its shape and beauty for years to come when appropriately laundered with care. (Hand wash, or spot clean with a mild detergent. I recommend dirty labs detergent, or a wool specific detergent.)
