The polymer clay lunar moth has been hand painted and sealed with a matte finish. 

Lunar moths live for an incredibly short time —only one week. Typically, they are a vivid green color in nature but I wanted to focus on the importance of living passionately no matter your circumstances. Orange is the perfect color for this! I went with a vibrant red based color pattern inspired by humid southern summer sunsets. The passion of red, the clarity of yellow creates the joyful, vital and creative life force of orange.
