🍃 Monstera adansonii, the Adanson's monstera, Swiss cheese plant, or five holes plant, is a species of flowering plant from family Araceae, which is widespread across much of South America and Central America.
🍃 They prefer higher humidity levels and grow beautiful indoors. Simply plant in a chunky growing medium of your preference and watch them grow! What do you receive: You will receive a Monster Adansonii (plant with 1-2 leaves) starter plant I propagated from a cutting off my mother plant. It was started in water. You will receive a starter plant similar to those in the photo listing; but it may not be the exact plant. To care for your Swiss Chesse plant and keep it healthy, follow these care guidelines:
☀️ Light: Provide bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct morning sunlight but should be protected from harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.
🌧️ Watering: Water your plant when the top inch or two of the soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely or keeping it consistently soggy. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's important to find the right balance.
💗 Pests: We do not use chemicals in our home. Your pothos is shipping from my house where there are no current pest issues. Please thoroughly check your plant upon receipt to ensure it did not pick up any hitchhikers on its journey.
📬 If you live in a colder climate please choose winter protection at checkout. I cannot guarantee your plant will survive in prolonged cold temperatures. If you choose to risk it I will not refund your purchase if it dies during transit.
📸 If your plant does die en route (even with winter protection) please take a photo as soon as you receive and send to me within 24-48 hours so I can make things right.
‼️ PLEASE be aware plants may lose leaves en route to their new home. As long as the root system is healthy they will grow a new leaf with proper care. Refunds are not given for broken or damaged leaves.
