Perception

Shakespeare told us the whole world is a stage. Some of us took that literally in our lives. 

We will fill a variety of roles throughout our lifetimes. Some of them we will choose for ourselves and some of them will be forced upon us. How you decide you carry yourself in each of the parts you play is your decision. How the audience responds to your character portrayal may be received as feedback, inspiration, or the nudge to choose a different theater company.
